CFCL Men’s Fall 2026: Timeless Style Meets Innovation | Yusuke Takahashi’s Mature Vision (2026)

Embracing Maturity: CFCL's Men's Fall 2026 Collection

In a fashion landscape often preoccupied with appealing to the younger cohorts of Generation Z and even the emerging Generation Alpha, Yusuke Takahashi's approach at CFCL stands out distinctly. He asserts, "Our focus isn’t on attracting new generations; instead, we aim to craft styles that are timeless and authentic, integrating modern technologies into our designs," he shared during a recent conversation with WWD from Tokyo.

As Takahashi continues to develop CFCL’s men’s line, which he first showcased as a separate entity just last year, he expresses a clear desire for garments that embody the essence of natural materials. Achieving this vision involves careful attention to both texture and color tones. This task proves challenging, especially when working with recycled polyester yarn, a material that often presents vibrant hues that may not align with his intended aesthetic.

The outcome of his efforts is impressive. In his quest for a more sophisticated style, Takahashi has embraced relaxed and comfortable silhouettes characterized by an elegant array of muted winter neutrals, occasionally accented with splashes of duck blue, turquoise, or terracotta.

Noteworthy pieces in this collection include a stylish heathered belted funnel-neck coat featuring off-center buttoning, luxurious crew neck sweaters, and ribbed hoodies perfect for layering. Additionally, boxy overshirts with an asymmetric buttoned collar and a chunky marled zippered cardigan highlight the neo-vintage vibe that Takahashi aims to capture.

As the CFCL brand evolves, so too does its identity. This month marks the beginning of an ambitious two-year factory initiative designed to significantly boost production capabilities, supported by a growth acceleration subsidy from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

The new facility, situated in Saitama prefecture just outside of Tokyo, will be equipped with 46 knitting machines, including 42 that are capable of producing entire garments using advanced 3D knitting technology. With the potential to manufacture nearly 65,000 of CFCL’s popular "Pottery" dresses, this expansion offers ample opportunity for further growth, particularly with respect to its new personalization program, which is currently available for women's styles only – for the time being.
